The second coffee I've ever tried from index. And again fantastic coffee. I've been in a slump with roasters, until now. Really nice fruit in this one. Apple and cherry to name a few. Nice and easygoing. No bitterness at all. Really a tasty coffee. Beautiful roasting job on both coffees.
After getting recommendations from the owner, I order two bags of Peru Liz Colina beans. Sometimes I worry that a dark roast could be too bitter, but this is smooth and oh so delicious. š I use an Aeropress and then add a little bit of frothed milk. āļø
Really smooth and flavorful coffee. Could see this becoming my daily drinker coffee!
We were fortunate enough to receive a bag of this coffee on a whim from the founder. We had never heard of Index Coffee before and I only occasionally drink decaf. Wow! Am I ever glad all the stars aligned and we got to try it. I tend to prefer a darker roast and Iād say this is more a medium roast. But it does not lack for flavor or complexity. It really is yummy. And it smells SO good! Love it!
This is the only decaf coffee that is great to drink, from my perspective. I have tried other decaf beans, and haven't liked the taste.

This is the first time I've tried index. I bought the peru liz colina dark roast. The best dark roast ever. Like pure dark chocolate. This is what a dark roast is all about. Not oily and burnt. Really a nice coffee.
